parametric sake set

Based on the scales of Japanese Koi fish, I designed this set of four sake cups. The designs explore the contrast between the regulated exactitude of digital fabrication and the Japanese concept of beauty in imperfection known as wabi-sabi. Modeled in Grasshopper; 3D printed via SLS in white plastic.
